The aim of this course is to enable students to improve and deepen their knowledge of the grammar, syntax, lexicon and morphology of the Spanish language in order to achieve a C1 level of receptive skills as well as a B2/B2+ level of productive skills of the Spanish language in its spoken and written dimensions. At the end of the year, students will also have acquired a solid knowledge of Hispanic culture and literature, through exercises and several readings of contemporary literature.
At the end of the course, the student should be able to • understand factual and fictional texts (written and oral) • produce coherent and sophisticated texts on a variety of topics • in terms of oral production, communicate coherently and argumentatively in tasks requiring a direct exchange of information on a variety of topics. • identify and explain syntactic phenomena, particularly through the reading of literary texts
Students will be encouraged to deepen their knowledge of the language through the study of the syntax of the complex sentence, and their knowledge of Hispanic culture and literature through a series of activities (readings, listening comprehensions, debates, dialogues, etc.).
