The program is designed to enable you to choose the most appropriate subjects to prepare you for your first university year in management engineering, giving you in particular a good scientific grounding for an orientation in environmental and life technologies and sciences.

Management engineers in the "Technologies and sciences of the living environment" orientation can choose between two programs:
- A program comprising mainly scientific subjects
- mathematics (16h)
- physics (12h)
- chemistry (12h)
- methodology of academic work (12h)
- A program comprising, in place of physics and chemistry courses, preparation for language courses. This program is identical to that for Economics and Management students.
- Mathematics (16h)
- Methodology of university work (12h)
- Dutch (15h)
- English (15h)
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Methodology courses are spread over the whole day, in the morning between 8:30am and 12:20pm and in the afternoon from 1:30pm to 5:20pm. Language classes are held in the afternoon from 1:30 to 4:30 pm.

An opportunity to discover the campus
Preparatory courses are also the ideal time to get to know the Namur campus. Alongside the disciplines studied, a 2-hour guided tour of the university site and the Faculty is organized on the first day. It's an opportunity to get to know Namur students and find out more about studies, the Faculty and extra-curricular activities.
Registration fees
Registration depends on the modules chosen:
- 90 € for the session "Mathematics", "Physics", "Chemistry" and "Methodology"
- For the program identical to economics and management students:
- 50 € for "Mathematics" and "Methodology"
- 30 € for "Dutch"
- 30 € for "English"
This amount includes course attendance and syllabi.
In some cases, UNamur grants free or partial reimbursement of registration fees. Consult the conditions to benefit from these advantages.
