At the end of the course students will be able to demonstrate:

ability to identify the main causes of macroeconomic fluctuations in a given country;

understanding of the role of government policies and structural characteristics in macroeconomic fluctuations across countries at different stages of development;

design policy reforms capable of alleviating the adverse impacts of macroeconomic fluctuation on growth, poverty, and welfare
At the end of the course students will also be able to mobilize the following soft skils:

communicate clearly and persuasively both in English (written and oral) as well as in graphical form;

manage a project;

integrate and work within a team and also to exercise leadership.
