Learning outcomes

Students use their knowledge of previous courses of the program of Bachelor in Geology in order to unravel the genesis of ores (metals and raw materials).

Goals

Recognize the main ore deposits. Discuss the formation of ores and propose a metallogenic model.

Content

Using their knowledge in Geology (mineralogy, petrology, stratigraphy) students can classify the main ore deposits, in order to facilitate future prospection.

Assessment method

Oral examination and reports associated to practical works.
