Learning outcomes

End of cycle study on a subject related to art as a means of expressing different aspects of Egyptian and Mesopotamian culture. Students may propose their own research topic. A number of subjects are offered to students.

Goals

The student must demonstrate the ability to carry out independent and personal research on a subject related to Egyptian or Mesopotamian culture. Particular attention is given to bibliographical research and primary source research.

Content

1st part ex cathedra: presentation of the bibliographical tools of Egyptology and methodology
2nd part ex cathedra: presentation of epigraphy and fieldwork in Egyptology
3rd part: individual discussion with students on their research topic
