The course will be articulated around four axes structuring the discipline: 1- History of museums: the historical study of museums will allow to put into perspective and to better understand what are the different types of museums in the 21st century. 2- Functioning of museum institutions: what are the different types of museums? 3- Basic techniques of museography: from the conservatory to the mediation tool. 4- Roles and objectives of museums: beyond the basic missions, which are the conservation, study and exhibition of collections, we will be interested in the new roles that today's museums are destined to play in society.
Oral examination and written work.
