I chose to study at UNamur first and foremost for its setting: Namur is a beautiful and welcoming city, on a human scale, where you quickly feel at home.
Passionate about biology for as long as I can remember, I decided to embark on this course without having a very precise idea of my future at the outset. Over the course of my studies, I've discovered areas that interest me, and this has helped me to better define my plans for the future.
What motivates me in my role as student ambassador is to represent the university and show that biology is a discipline with a future. I like being able to reassure future students, to explain to them in concrete terms what we study and how studies are carried out here.
If I had to give one piece of advice, it would be not to stress too much about the future: even at the end of your baccalaureate, you can still be hesitant about what to do next, and that's normal.
Finally, what I particularly appreciate about UNamur is the proximity: to professors, to other students... and to a city where life is good. One place I'd definitely recommend visiting is the Citadelle of Namur!
