The Université de Namur delegation to Paris included Jeroen Darquennes, Vice-Rector for International and External Relations, and Justine Bodart, PhD student in the Mathematics Department. They were accompanied by two colleagues from the University of Toulouse's UNIVERSEH Alliance: Professor Christina Stange-Fayos, Delegate Vice President for International Relations, and Ariana Sobhani, a Bachelor's student in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Aeronautics, at Université Paul Sabatier - Toulouse III and President of the UNIVERSEH Alliance Student Council.

Jeroen Darquennes and Justine Bodart were able to represent the University of Namur at several key events. In particular, they took part in enriching discussions with Minister-President Elisabeth Degryse and Minister-President Adrien Dolimont. Together, they discussed the challenges and opportunities of international cooperation in higher education. They were able to discuss solutions to the legal-administrative obstacles that hinder our international collaborations in higher education.

The meeting with the King, the Queen and representatives of the French government was a highlight, during which the University of Namur was able to highlight its initiatives within the framework of UNIVERSEH, alongside its partners from the University of Toulouse.

The University of Namur would like to warmly thank Wallonie-Bruxelles International and the Belgian Embassy in Paris for their support in organizing this event. These exchanges enabled the University of Namur to reaffirm its commitment to promoting innovation and collaboration within the European university landscape.
