Goals

- to enable the student to develop and problematise a philosophical question. - To enable the student to master a classical philosophical text (analysis and synthesis) - To enable the student to write a philosophical text that is both a synthesis of his or her philosophical readings and a proposed commentary on them, with personal and critical intervention on the themes addressed in these same readings.

Content

The student chooses a promoter and determines the subject of his or her work in consultation with the promoter. The work may be based on a text, a book or a theme chosen according to the student's interests. The work will consist of about twenty typewritten pages.

Assessment method

The evaluation covers both the process of carrying out the work and the final result. The final mark is awarded by the work promoter. A document containing the instructions for the work and the various stages of its completion is distributed each year to registered students and is then available on the webcapus

Sources, references and any support material

The readings are determined in consultation with the promoter.
