Learning outcomes

- develop critical thinking and scientific reasoning skills; - to acquire the techniques of analysis and interpretation of historical sources, as well as a reflective and critical awareness in the practice of the historical approach; - To learn how to carry out a research question in history and to master the tools and working methods specific to the discipline; - mastering communication by respecting the rules of reference and publication; - acquire a strong capacity for information analysis, synthesis and writing.

Goals

The objective of this course is to analyse individually and collectively a particular body of documentation. In the light of the methodological lessons that have been taught in the pre-requisite courses, it is a question of defining a problematic and analysing a specific source to shed light on the chosen theme.

Assessment method

A formative evaluation in January will look at the progress of the work. The assessment will be based on the written work to be submitted in the second semester.
