Learning outcomes

This course is an introduction to the ethical issues raised by digital technologies for ourselves, society and the world. Is advancing science or technology always beneficial? What are the consequences of digital technology on our lives? The course will present the main currents in ethics that will guide us in answering these different questions. The course will be structured around discussions of case studies and special topics.

Teaching methods

The course will alternate between lectures and group discussions in class.

Assessment method

Assessment will be based on the final exam at the end of the semester and written questions on readings during the semester.
