Different aspects will be addressed such as immunology, metabolism, epigenetics, personalized medicine and early cancer diagnosis. There will also be a section on the management of cancer patients.
The courses will cover various topics and some will be taught by external speakers who are specialists in the field.
Concepts of oncogenes and tumor suppressors
Cell cycle and safeguard program
Tumor microenvironment and metastatic process
Apoptosis and other forms of cell death
Models used in cancer research
Epigenetics and cancer
Immunology and immunotherapy
Tumor metabolism
Patient care and diagnosis
Personalized medicine and early diagnosis
Lectures given by the professor, but also by other experts, who may come from other universities. This broadens the range of expertise presented to students.
