Goals

The main objective of the workshop is to introduce students to the creation of a website, its editorial animation and its coherence with social networks. The student will learn the essential concepts and a series of useful tools for the future professional activity.

Content

The workshop is based on theoretical presentations on the one hand, and on the other hand, on a practical exercise allowing the concrete implementation of the concepts and tools discussed. Thus, the management of a website project in a global way (planning, design, production, realisation in a CMS, putting online and evaluation) and the coherent integration with social networks constitute the main part of the subject. The course is divided into agile timeboxes: • Specificities of digital communication • Strategic planning: business objectives, target, persona, user scenario, KPIs, etc. • Design: structuring of content and definition of functionality • Production: cms, html, css and graphic design • Production: copywriting, SEO • Production: Facebook social network, configuration, editorial calendar, community management and content marketing

Assessment method

During each workshop session, the student is asked to carry out a practical exercise either during the session, or for the following days, or for the end of the term. The student will be assessed on : 1. these successive works; 2. the presentation of the finalized website project at the session; 3. and the quality of the website.
