The objective of this course is to provide students with an understanding of the concept and process of digital transformation. It allows students to comprehend the role of Chief Digital Officer and to formulate a digital transformation strategy in terms of objectives, strategic analysis, options formulation, anticipation of barriers, partnerships, etc. In addition, the implementation of this strategy in organizations via IT and agile governance methods and tools is addressed. The knowledge of the course is applied on a practical case selected from a list of existing organizations.
The knowledge gained from the course is evaluated in two ways.
On one hand, students write a group report to develop a digital strategy for chosen existing organization (50%)
On the other hand, students present their strategy via an oral presentation to answer questions about the report and about the content of the course (50%)
