Laurent Schumacher

Laurent Schumacher has been Professor of Telecommunications and Computer Networks at the Faculty of Computer Science since 2003. He has also served two terms as Faculty Vice-Dean, from 2012 to 2016 and from 2020 to the present. Since the Marcourt decree, Laurent Schumacher has also been involved in the development of IT tools for the administrative management of training courses.

Annick Castiaux

As Rector, she is the institution's legal and official representative. Director General, she also chairs the Rector's Council, the Academic Council, the Works Council, certain peripheral ASBLs and co-chairs the Pôle Académique de Namur.

Valérie Daenen

The General Administrator oversees the good financial and budgetary management as well as the management of movable and real estate assets.In close collaboration with the Rector :She participates as a full member of the Board of Directors and the General AssemblyShe contributes to the Board's political reflection and supports this reflection with an analysis of the university's options in financial, budgetary, human resources, technical, and campus development matters, including their operational aspectsShe draws up preliminary budget proposals and presents the institution's accountsShe is the main interface between the directives of the Rector's Council and the administrative departmentsShe is the contact person for the deans on budgetary and financial mattersShe coordinates all the institution's departments and, in this capacity, chairs the Management Board.
