Use of ChatGPT in teaching: what lessons can be learned after a first quarter test?
Professors, lecturers, assistants and pedagogical experts from UNamur took part in a workshop to evaluate and critique the use of ChatGPT in university courses. Numerous examples of practices including AI in teaching were carried out in the courses offered at UNamur this term. A survey was also carried out among Block 1 students on their use and knowledge of artificial intelligence.

ILI Project: Migrants trained in French at the University of Namur
Since 2015, the University of Namur, in partnership with the Hénallux teaching department, has launched a number of initiatives to help migrants. They are part of a Local Integration Initiative (LII) project recognised by the Walloon Region. As well as organising intercultural activities, a French language course is offered for levels B1, B2 and C1 of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). This year, around 15 students took part. Here's a look back at this rewarding experience, in the service of a more inclusive society.

A team from QUALIblood, a University of Namur spin-off and the Department of Pharmacy has developed a blood test that assesses the risk of developing thrombosis. It is specifically aimed at women wishing to take a contraceptive pill or hormone treatment for the menopause. The development of this test and its availability to healthcare professionals is a world first!
