To request an exemption for a language course, please contact your program secretary. You will receive a form to complete. Medical certificate & Exam postponement In the event of illness during an examination period, you may refer to the Study Regulations:Article 43. Inability to take part in an assessment§1st. Any student registered for an assessment who is unable to take part must notify the examiner concerned and the vice-dean or his/her delegate no later than the day of the assessment, and comply with the provisions of article 44. Otherwise, a student's absence from an assessment will be sanctioned by a mark of 0/20.§2. To prove that a student is unable to take part in an assessment, he or she may present a medical certificate covering the period in question.§3. It is forbidden to take part in an assessment during the period covered by a medical certificate. The student who participates in an assessment despite a deficient state of health or serious personal problems, cannot under any circumstances have the result subsequently cancelled, even with a medical certificate or any other attestation. PROFILE - Michel Ajzen, the surgeon of managerial and organizational practices

How can teleworking and face-to-face work be reconciled? How can these professional practices be framed to reinforce the innovative and sustainable dimensions of hybrid work? These are the questions that Michel Ajzen, a specialist in organizational management, is tackling as part of his teaching assignments in the Department of Management Sciences at UNamur. His research focuses on hybrid work and organizational innovation, with a transdisciplinary approach aimed at reinventing managerial practices to meet contemporary challenges.

After more than 60 years in existence, the Faculty of Economics, Social Sciences and Management (FSESG) at the University of Namur unveils its new name for the start of the academic year. It has become the EMCP Faculty, or Faculté Économie Management Communication sciencesPo. Every year, many students are trained here to become future experts and decision-makers in economics, management, communications and political science. How do you reconcile teaching methods and research with the challenges of a society in transition? This is the challenge taken up by the EMCP vision, a reflection of reflection and experience, carried forward by students and staff alike.

New training courses and pedagogical innovations in 2024 at UNamur

Two new Master's degree specializations are on offer from the start of the new academic year. One will provide training in general medicine, the other in the management and economics of sustainable development. Other pedagogical innovations in existing course programs are also proposed, including a course designed to train block students in the challenges of Artificial Intelligence and develop their critical thinking skills to use AI in a relevant way. Through these innovations and new features, UNamur is demonstrating its ability to constantly adapt its educational offering in response to changes in society.
