Green deal - Sustainable food

UNamur is committed to the 6 principles of the Green Deal :

The Arsenal – The university restaurant

Students benefit from a special rate for the hot dish of the day (€3.5) served at the university restaurant l'Arsenal.

The "Solidarithèque" - solidarity grocery shop

The "Solidarithèque" is a solidarity grocery shop designed to support higher education students facing financial difficulties. It was set up and is run by the social services of UNamur, HEAJ and HEPN in partnership with the Association pour la Solidarité Étudiante en Belgique (ASEB). More info here

The CoKot

The Co-Kot is a student residence project (Kot à projet) supported by the UNamur. The Co-Kot provides solidarity meals to students. More info on the Facebook page

The Haugimont Marauding

Every year, the University of Namur organises an event at the old orchard on the Haugimont estate.  A wide range of activities are on offer throughout the day: marauding with free marauding bags, explanations on how to manage the organic orchard, children's activities, information stands, guided and commented walks, etc.  Read more...
