To make this adventure even more rewarding, the University of Namur encourages its students to choose an eco-responsible means of transport, in line with its sustainable development policy.
You've been selected and are about to go on exchange?
You can make the most of your Erasmus stay while helping to protect the environment by choosing alternatives to flying, such as trains, buses or carpooling.
These alternative means of transport may be slower, but the journey is already part of the exchange experience. You'll see beautiful scenery and discover unusual places along the way, but you'll also meet other travelers, perhaps also students who, like you, are leaving to study elsewhere.
Moreover, the Erasmus+ program allows you to finance up to 4 extra days to compensate for the travel time.
How to benefit from these advantages?
On your return, you must send the SRI supporting documents (train or bus tickets) proving that you used an eco-responsible means of transport both on your outward and return journeys. Your travel during your mobility will not be taken into account.
