The Euraxess program was initiated in 2012 as part of a continuous improvement process to guarantee and improve the quality of services in place, but also to encourage researcher mobility.

How does it work

It is the Euraxess Steering Committee that coordinates UNamur's commitment to the recruitment policy respectful of the European Charter for Researchers and the Recruitment Code for Researchers, as well as monitoring the actions Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R)and Open, transparent, and Merit based Recruitment (OTM-R). The Charter comprises 40 principles that must apply to researchers, the University of Namur and funders. It establishes the rights and obligations of each party.

The Euraxess steering committee works in close collaboration with the Research Administration (ADRE), the Human Resources Department (SRH) and the International Relations Department (SRI).

The day-to-day management of the Euraxess unit is handled by the Quality Support Unit.
