In a new book, two professors from UNamur, Anthony Simonofski (digital transformation—EMCP Faculty—NaDI Institute) and Benoît Vanderose (software engineering—Faculty of Computer Science—NaDI Institute), take readers on a journey at the crossroads of digital technology and cinematic imagination.
On November 18, UNamur took part for the second time in European Academic Heritage Day, joining the online campaign spearheaded by the international networkUniverseum. This initiative, relayed on social networks, aims to promote university heritage on a European scale. The theme for 2025? Unexpected heritage.
The fruit of a project led by students in the Bachelor of History program at the University of Namur, this free exhibition traces several centuries of interaction between Belgium and the Philippines. Open until February 5, 2026, it features remarkable archives and objects, as well as a unique artistic component. Guided tours can be organized on request.
