Inhoud

Dissertation topics are proposed by sponsors. In most cases, the subject will be to answer a specific biological question defined by the thesis promoter in the context of a research team. The student may also make personal proposals and look for a sponsor to guide them. The work for the dissertation starts in M1-Q2 with a study of the relevant scientific literature, the formulation of specific objectives and hypotheses and the preparation of the practical work.

Evaluatiemethode

The assessment of this first part takes place in the June session of M1. It is based on a written work submitted by the student, consisting essentially of the bibliography of the dissertation, the statement of the objective(s) of the work and the hypotheses for the fieldwork. The work must be submitted to the promoter no later than the opening day of the June session of M1. The evaluation is done by the promoter on the basis of an evaluation grid
