This new 120-credit master's degree, unique in Belgium, combines rigorous academic training with a sustained, paid corporate presence.

It focuses on managerial practices linked to the digital transformation of the company, essential for adapting to the constant changes in the economic and technological environment.

Improving operational efficiency and the customer experience, accessing new markets, innovating products and services, redefining business models... the opportunities of digital corporate transformation are numerous and play a part in maintaining a competitive position in the marketplace.

Your objectives

  • acquire the rigor and critical spirit of a quality university education;
  • master the knowledge, methods and tools of the various management disciplines (finance, marketing, human resources, strategy, organization, operations management, management IT...) and their integration in a cross-functional perspective;
  • develop skills specific to the company's digital transformation:
    • understand the stakes and impact of digital transformation on the company's business model;
    • master new information management technologies and techniques in the context of and at the origin of digital transformation processes;
    • identify business opportunities;
    • learn how to design a digital strategy and integrate digital technologies into company processes and activities.

    You join teams of professionals from the strategy, marketing, finance, regulatory departments... to complete your internship of 3 d/wk at the start of the course and 4 d/wk at the end. Throughout this period, you are paid.

  • A dissertation-project

    Your dissertation is directly linked to your on-the-job experience.

The program

You choose your reference institution: UNamur or UCLouvain and it organizes the supervision of your work-study placements, the language course and the follow-up of your dissertation. To minimize your travel, you can take advantage of a range of partially distance-learning courses.

Options
  • "Finance" themes: portfolio management, investment strategies, stock exchange and financial market operations, investment techniques, derivatives, risk management and its international dimension, social and sustainable finance, corporate finance, in particular how companies are financed, and financial analysis.
  • "Services & Marketing Management" theme (unique in Belgium): developing skills in marketing, operations, IT, technology, law or human resources in the services sector: knowing your customers and finding new ones, developing high-performance products or services, emerging in a competitive, communicative and technological universe.
  • "Innovation and Entrepreneurship" theme : to train future managers who will drive innovation in their own entrepreneurial projects or in development projects within the organization that employs them.
  • "Digital Information Management" theme: grasp the different opportunities offered by digital technologies, understand its various impacts on a management process, understand how these technologies must be managed and integrated, support organizations in implementing cutting-edge technological solutions, adopt a critical view of the challenges of digital technologies.

The University of Namur offers the Master 120 in Management Sciences (with work-linked-training) jointly with the UCLouvain.
